WANDERERS FC continued their unbeaten run in the 2012 Pines Imaging Centre/Portmore Football League Under-17 competition after completing a 4-1 thumping of Cumberland in their Zone "A" table-topper recently.

Wanderers have now moved into pole position in the group with 13 points from five games comprising four wins and a draw.

Cumberland, who led the standings entering the fifth round with a perfect four from four, dropped their first point, but remained second on 12.

In other Zone A encounters, Watson Grove registered the biggest win of the round with a 5-0 demolition of Dunbeholden; Braeton turned back Garveymeade, 3-1, while Christian Pen outscored Portsmouth, 3-2.

Meanwhile in Zone B, the second of the two groups, Daytona — following successive defeats, rallied to edge Hellshire United, 2-1.
