JAMAICA's Under-16 netballers were in a no-nonsense mood on Tuesday evening as they crushed Trinidad and Tobago 51-2 at the 2014 Jean Pierre Youth Netball Tournament in Antigua and Barbuda.

Goalshooter and captain Simone Gordon scored 32 goals from 40 attempts which led the Jamaicans to their third straight win in the championship.

Reserve shooter Idara McCarty hit seven goals from 11 attempts, reserve goal attack Nicole Lewis and Tracy Francis both netted five goals each from seven and nine attempts, respectively, while goal attack Shanique Francis scored the other goal from three attempts.

Afiya Vincent and Aqiyla O'brien netted the two goals for Trinidad and Tobago.

In the other game, host Antigua and Barbuda defeated the Combine Youth 18-14.

Jamaica, the defending champions, will next face Barbados, also unbeaten in three starts, in a top-of-the-table clash today.
