LONDON (AP) — A portrait of "Pride and Prejudice" author Jane Austen that is soon to adorn British banknotes has sold for 164,500 pounds (US$270,230) at a London auction.

Pay day came with a little extra for Sandals Negril's Stewarding Department after they copped the resort's Sports and Social Club inter-department football championship on April 25. The men beat defending champions Watersports 1-0 to secure the top spot.
