One of tomorrow's feature races, the Nigel B Nunes Trophy (9 furlongs and 25 yards or 1820m) is adorned with seven starters, with each of the seven having the potential to win, thereby making the event most competitive.

Trainer Gary Subratie holds the key as he fields three starters: Blue Dixie, Brawn and Awesome Destiny.

The Supreme Racing Guide analyses the race.

PINELOPE — Left us in bad form 21 days ago, having failed to hit the board in his last three races, although it must be said that Pinelope was racing against the likes of Houdini's Magic, Will In Charge and Chace The Great. Pinelope has been working well, clocking 1:04.4 for five furlongs on August 26. She will need every hoof to be placed correctly if she is to win this one.

BLUE DIXIE — Has not won a race since January this year and in her last outing did not show much when finishing seventh behind Houdini's Magic. Blue Dixie is capable of better, but not tomorrow.

PROLIFIC PRINCESS — Won handsomely on last after being way behind entering the straight. P rolific Princess is on top of her game now and races over a distance she has not ventured in her last 10 starts, in what seems to be an effort to earn for participation in the upcoming Diamond Mile. Prolific Princess will be in the mix, especially if she holds the distance.

ROYAL VIBES — An upset winner on last in Overnight Allowance, but has never been consistent in his career to date. Anything can happen tomorrow depending on which Royal Vibes turns up.

ANOTHER BULLET — Finished well last Saturday in fourth position behind the much-improved Chace The Great in a six-and-a-half furlong event. Another Bullet, while being very versatile, will be much more at home going longer. Another Bullet has a good chance here.

BRAWN — Has developed the nasty habit of being slowly out of the gates and at times Brawn whips around, thereby considerably reducing his chances of winning. If Brawn overcomes this malady tomorrow, he has a good chance as the trip is right and he is due.

AWESOME DESTINY – Has won over this trip twice and if left unmolested on the lead, will prove very difficult to beat. Awesome Destiny comes in light, and with apprentice Dawkins having mastered the art of winning from in front, the filly can go into the lead, hold her gallop and still have enough the thwart any challenge in the last two furlongs.
