The Newport Mills-sponsored Front Runner Dash for maiden two-year-olds over five furlongs (1,000m) round will be contested at Caymanas Park tomorrow.

Eight starters, all first-time runners, are down to compete for the $1 million purse.

The Supreme Racing Guide assesses the chances of the runners in post position order.

MATRIARCH: - (2-y-o b,f - Casual Trick Witch Craft) — This bay filly has been doing well at exercise, showing some good signs in her gallops. Based on reports in the mornings, Matriarch looks forward enough to open her account here.

BALTUSROL: - (2-y-o b,c - Blue Pepsi Lodge Star Flyer) — Showing some signs of ability in the mornings and looks quite useful. Baltusrol's sire Blue Pepsi Lodge is known to produce good runners at the two-year-old stage, and based on early reports, this Anthony Nunes-trained colt is of similar stock.

Beat Musketoon on Saturday at exercise clocking 1:02.1 for five furlongs. Looks like at this stage, she is more forward than his stable companion.

TOP SHELF: — (2-y-o ch,f - Soul Warrior First Choice) — Despite some encouraging reports, Top Shelf is likely to need more time.

BAD BOY THEODORE: — (2-y-o- dk,b,c - Freedom For Jante – Irish Director) — Nicely bred colt who will certainly learn from this experience

MAMA LILETE: — (2-y-o ch,f - Traditional Inspiration) — Based on exercise reports, this filly will need more time to find her footing.

PRINCESS ANNIE: — (2-y-o b,f - Northern Giant Millennium Princess) — Another one in the line-up who has been showing promise at exercise might run well here without winning. Beaten by Top Shelf last weekend at exercise but has put in quite a bit of work coming into this one.

MYSTIC MAMMA — (2-y-o b,f - Nuclear Wayne Mama C) — Interestingly bred filly who is going to need more time.

DEVINE LEXIE — (2-y-o b,f - Natural Selection Preach Preacher) — Well bred filly who is a full sister to Drummer Boy. Has been doing well at exercise and will do well here.
