The Front Runner Hotline Stakes is going to be just that — hot — in fact very hot, indeed, when the nine declared three-year-old non-winners of two starters meet head-on going six furlongs (1,200m) tomorrow at Caymanas Park.

The following is the take on the nine in post-position order.

BAND OF GOLD: (3, drk.b. f. Adore The Gold Formal Jackie) – Seasoned runner but is not known for speed, therefore coming from the one draw is going to make it very difficult for Band Of Gold.

NECROMANCER: (3, b.f. Casual TrickEighteen Karat) – Very experienced, but has not shown much of late. It will be a total surprise if Necromancer takes home this one. Note the Figure 8 has been taken off.

LICI'S PEPSI: (3, drb.f. Blue Pepsi LodgeFirst Choice) – If ever there is a fighter in this race it is Lici's Pepsi. The fact that Shane Ellis is aboard says a lot, as Lici's Pepsi has won going six and a half furlongs and has raced against some of the better three-year-olds and has performed well. The tongue tie has been added, which should allow her to settle and concentrate more. Lici's Pepsi is as live as they come.

BREEZY ADLIH: (3, b.f. Casual TrickSee Da Breeze) – Well beaten by Fashionista on first appearance and that trend should continue.

STORM BORN: (3, ch.f. Nuclear Wayne Dance Away) – Storm Born has not raced in 77 days and the choice of rider is not inspiring, even racing with first-time Lasix.

SERGEANT RECKLESS: (3, dkb.f Storm Craft Code Star) – Has not really shown a lot in her two starts to date, and although racing with first-time Lasix and even with running in front of Lici's Pepsi when breaking the maiden tag, Sergeant Reckless is not expected to do same here. Will, however, be carefully watched.

YAYA'S DREAM: (3, b.f. Adore The Gold Flutter) — The most experienced in the line-up, Yaya's Dream was just able to release the maiden tag 10 days ago. Should not be a factor in this one.

FASHIONISTA: (3, b.f Liquidity Mayken Joy) – Lost to Drone Strike on debut in December 2017, and finished behind El Profesor also in that race. Then Fashionista returned and put away El Profesor by all of seven lengths. Fashionista is the choice of the stable jockey and has been working quite well in the mornings. Tomorrow all will known as to how good she really is and whether or not her Classic race claims are authentic. Fashionista is given the nod.

DISABILITY CHARM: (3, b.f. Soul WarriorRunin On Empty) – Was outstanding on debut (Jan 20, 2018) when winning over five furlongs round (1,000m), pulling away from rivals with disdain in a good time of one minute flat. Trainer Patrick Lynch has painstakingly prepared Disability Charm and she is coming to run. Watch this filly very closely. Note the tongue tie is on, plus she is racing on first-time Lasix.
