The time is nearly at hand for the big Superstakes race day on November 11 sponsored by Burger King along with its partners, Coca Cola, Little Caesar's Pizza and Popeye's Chicken.

The big question still remains: Who will ride She's A Maneater in the Superstakes? When checks were made with the trainer of the Triple Crown-winning filly, Wayne DaCosta, his response was “no final decision has been made”.

DaCosta then advised on his other horses running in the Superstakes and the Invitational Mile.

In the Superstakes at this stage it seems that the champion trainer will have four starters — She's A Maneater, Royal Vibes, Hover Craft and Dysfunctional — with Oneil Mullings set to mount up on Royal Vibes and Phillip Parchment on Hover Craft.

In the Invitational Mile, DaCosta is expected to start Lottery Ticket and Ian Links with Mullings provisionally doing duties on the former and Parchment on the latter.

Trainer Anthony Nunes whose form of late has been sublime, goes with the red-hot Dick Cardenas on Bigdaddykool in the Superstakes, while its appears that Cardenas is yet to take a decision onwhether to ride Houdini's Magic or Bilingual in the Invitational Mile.

In the Glen Mills Caribbean Sprint, Nunes has two starters: Siempre Bueno with Cardenas and Orpheus with Wesley Henry.

Will In Charge, conqueror of Bigdaddykool in both the Prime Minister's and Governor General's Stakes earlier this year, will have a different rider when he takes the track next week Saturday to run in the Superstakes. On board Will In Charge is going to be Shane Ellis, who replaces lightweight apprentice Dane Dawkins.

In the Sprint, Ellis has secured the ride on the Philip Feanny-trained Campesino.

Dane Nelson, who has returned from his time in Canada, has already secured rides on the big day. There is much talk that Nelson might be aboard She's A Maneater, but that has not been confirmed as yet, while it looks like he will have the leg up on Buzz Nightmare in the Sprint for Feanny.

There is confirmation that Paul Francis will take the reins on the Ian Parsard-trained Superluminal in the Superstakes.

In the Sprint, word out is that apprentice Anthony Thomas is the rider chosen to guide one of the pre-race favourites, Chace The Great trained by Dwight Chen.
