Much has been written during the four years that She's A Maneater has raced.

She has had most of her triumphs coming from behind with one exception when she was a two-year-old.

Now She's A Maneater seems to have developed the art of sprinting.

That notification came from the Natural SelectionAhwhofah offspring on Saturday last (July 6) during the running of the six-furlong None Such Sprint Trophy.

In the None Such, She's A Maneater exiting from post-position three, got off to a reasonable start along with main rivals Another Bullet and Money Magnet and then suddenly her regular rider, Omar Walker, put her through and that was that. She's A Maneater entered the straight in front, which is rare, and then pulled further and further away for a four-length victory in a time of 1:11.0. The splits were 22.0 and 45.1 seconds.

“She ( She's A Maneater) has run four times already this year and she has done well thus far. At the moment we are just picking the right races for her,” trainer Wayne DaCosta told the Supreme Racing Guide.

DaCosta then revealed that the filly was looking even better physically than before.

She A Maneater has always been an outstanding performer and there is no reason why she can't still be great until the end of the year, so we will see what happens.

“She has put on some weight and her coat has a greater sheen to it now, so we are expecting even greater things from her.

She's A Maneater has had some niggling problems that needed to be straightened out and she had a cut on her tongue and it wasn't completely better for the The Viceroy Trophy. As a result, we decided to skip the The Viceroy and aim for this one (The None Such Sprint),” DaCosta shared.

DaCosta then commented on his charge's front running effort in the None Such.

“We were expecting a victory but we never thought it would have been from in front as she was able to dominate from the word go. Usually going six furlongs, she would have been coming from off the pace, but today (Saturday) she was able to dominate and came home easily,” DaCosta observed.

Though DaCosta did not say when the impressive mare will next race by all indications, She's A Maneater's main focus will be the Supertsakes and the lucrative Diamond Mile scheduled for October and November, respectively.

“We are not quite sure when she will run next because it is coming around to Supertsakes and Diamond Mile time, so we have to be very careful where we run now because we want to make sure when those races come around, she is happy and fit. So, we will see, we are not quite sure where we are going to be running her yet,” DaCosta ended.
