RACE 1-$350-300,000 CLAIMING (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1000 METRES/5FURLONGSROUND

Cruising Motion running from just off the pace led the charge of those running on to enter the last 200 in front but had his advantage reduced to a short head by the strong finish of Diferentgeneration.

RACE 2-$180,000 CLAIMING (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1000 METRES/5 FURLONGS STRAIGHT

Laguna Point justified odds-on favouritism as after being in a speed duel with Princess Briana found the necessary extra to win by a length from True Whisper closing.

RACE 3-$450-400,000 (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1820 METRES/9FURLONGS&25YARDS

Ballon D'Or went to the front early and was given a good ride to stay on well ensuring favourite Danos La Paz in the runner-up spot got no closer than 2 1/2 lengths at the finish.

RACE 4-OVERNIGHT ALLOWANCE DIV I (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1400 METRES/7FURLONGS

Relishing the longer distance, Another Vigorous was always in control of the pace and outclassed his rivals with an impressive winning margin of over 7 lengths.

RACE 5-MAIDEN CONDITION (THREE-YEAR-OLDS) 1500METRES/7 1/2FURLONGS

Sacrifice chased by Giaconda who took over at the top of the stretch came to the distance well in front. The frustrations of the connections of Cerasini continued as she ran on well but had to settle for a fifth consecutive second place finish.

RACE 6-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE IV (4YOS&UP/NW3) 1100METRES/5 1/2FURLONGS

Ten Carats travelled easily on the bridle to the top of the homestretch then led and kept on well to hold the challenge of Rockdale.

RACE 7-MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT (TWO-YEAR-OLDS) 1100 METRES/5 1/2FURLONGS

Run Thatcher Run, half-brother to Triple Crown winner She's A Maneater, surprisingly offered odds of 4/1 with another debutant Earn Your Stripes locked in at 1/9. Run Thatcher Run turned for home on top and showed no sign of greenness in running well inside the last 200 metres to score handily nearly 3 lengths.

RACE 8-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE IV (5YOS&UPWARDS) 1400 METRES/7FURLONGS

Boffo went to the front early and turned the event into a virtual procession of pursuers by arriving at the winning post 8 lengths clear.

RACE 9-OVERNIGHT ALLOWANCE DIV II (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1400 METRES/7FURLONGS

Orpheus emphasised the fact that he was the best in this field and defied top weight racing with a couple of lightly weighted opponents for the lead and stayed on well to score handily by 2 lengths.

RACE 10-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE II DIV II (3-YEAR-OLDS) 1600 METRES/8FURLONGS

Brandy was turned out in unbeatable condition for her fifth race in seven weeks and destroyed her field by over 9 lengths, once again demonstrating that master conditioner Wayne DaCosta knows what he is about as many of the pundits thought that the filly's previous schedule of races may have been too heavy.

RACE 11-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE II DIV I (3YOS/NW2) 1600 METRES/8FURLONGS

Ricky Ricardo was held up in mid-pack as Nuclear Lava was an unconvincing leader to the top of the stretch with the pursuing pack close up. Ricky Ricardo found room between one-paced strugglers to lead at the distance and outstayed rivals by over 4 lengths.

RACE 12-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V (4YOS&UP/NW2) 1100METRES/5 1/2FURLONGS

Kiss Me Quick broke well, led and never looked likely to be overtaken by Okahumpka who pursued from 700 metres away from the finish to end up just over a length in arrears.

RACE 13-4TH DIAMOND MILE GRADE I (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1600 METRES/8FURLONGS

Ante-post favourite She's A Maneater bolted and was declared a late non-starter to deny the pundits what promised to be another epic encounter with her three-time conqueror this year, Will In Charge. The sprinters were all prominent to the top of stretch but were put away by the class of Will In Charge who entered the last 200 metres with a decisive lead. Bigdaddykool ran like a reluctant non-competitor down the backstretch but picked up nicely from 700 metres out. The rider on the coasting Will In Charge celebrated early by easing him 50 metres out and only survived the late rush of Bigdaddykool by a short head to secure the record winner's share of the purse and the Horse-of-the-Year accolade.

RACE 14-RESTRICTED STAKES (THREE-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1300 METRES/6 1/2FURLONGS

Improving Exhilarate, looked the part in the post-parade, was early and repelled all challengers but only lasted by the narrowest possible margin as Garrincha's strong late run on the far rails failed by a single stride.
