RACE 1-$850-750,000 CLAIMING (3YOS&UWARDS) 1820METRES/9FURLONGS&25YARDS

Supreme Soul tracked stable companion Western Wheels into the backstretch before cruising to the front with 800 metres to come and was ridden right out to win by 22 lengths (1:55.3) to stay on course for his quest to be Triple Crown champion.

RACE 2-MAIDEN CONDITION (4-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1300METRES/6 1/2FURLONGS

My Son Bates allowed Talkaboutme to lead for 500 metres then went to the front in an attempt to escape the field. Danceallnight was held up early and ran on very strongly to overtake the tired My Son Bates, beating him by just over one length.

RACE 3-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V (4YOS&UP/NW2) 1820METRES/9FURLONGS&25YARDS

Although slowly into stride, Hot Ice was soon prominent and left the 800-metre mark with a comfortable advantage. Threatened by Free Marie from the top of the stretch, Hot Ice stayed on strongly to outstay her by nearly four lengths.

RACE 4-$350-300,000 CLAIMING (3-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1300METRES/6 1/2FURLONGS

Jamaican Citizen was not alert at the start but was ridden in unhurried fashion to overtake each rival in turn at different points and ran well late to beat the strong finish of Major Force by a length and a half.

RACE 5-$250-200,000 CLAIMING (4-YEAROLDS&UPWARDS) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS ROUND

Odds-on favourite Tough Cookie led Royal Girl into the last 200 metres but fell prey to the smooth and strong finish of Jon Marshall 100 metres out.

RACE 6-MAIDEN CONDITION (FIVE-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1100METRES/5 1/2FURLONGS

Emperor's Treasure led unconvincingly to the distance before being attacked by Struck By Grace, who struck the front but could not could not hold off Moviestar whose strong late surge on the far side yielded a victory by just under one length.

RACE 7-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE IV (4YOS&UPWARDS/NW3) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS ROUND

On turning for home Dee Danger was able to get the better of the front running Golden Destiny with 250 metres to run. Sea Swan was not with the early pace but ran on very well in the stretch to overtake Dee Destiny before going on to score by two lengths. Sea Swan had to survive a stewards' inquiry.

RACE 8-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE IV (5YOS&UP/NW3) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS ROUND

Aurelia's Summer ran prominently in the front rank and flashed inside the last 200 metres with a clear lead which was nearly four lengths in front at the line.

RACE 9-KINGS PLATE OPEN ALLOWANCE (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1500METRES/7 1/2FURLONGS

Superluminal and Nuclear Flight battled for over 1300 metres with the former staying on strongly to beat Houdini's Magic's prominent effort by two lengths with Nuclear Flight fighting effort only good for third another three parts of a length in arrears.

RACE 10- MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT (THREE-YEAR-OLDS) 1100METRES/5 1/2FURLONGS

Distant Storm led narrowly under a confident ride and sprinted clear approaching the distance. Running well from this point, Distant Storm never looked likely to be overtaken and arrived at the winning post a length and a half clear of a promising run from Inspired Miracle.
