Six horses claimed on Ash Wednesday

Six horses were claimed on the 10-race programme at Caymanas Park on Wednesday. Welsh Soutar claimed Acapulco for owner Rosemarie Green for $250,000 from Alden Francis, while Steven Todd claimed Chief Prospect for himself from Borris McIntosh, also for $250,000, from the first race.

In the second race, Gordon Lewis claimed Zackontheattack for $450,000 for owner Faye Lee from Michael McIntosh.

In the fourth race on a $180,000 claiming tag, Junior Small claimed Paper Chaser for owner Modern Connection from Wayne DaCosta; Lawrence Freemantle claimed Buck Call from Gregory Forsyth for owner Rocky & Stickman; and Enos Brown claimed Jason's Gold for owner Wilfred Nicholas from Michael Marlowe.
