Today and tomorrow teams across the globe face-off in must-win World Cup-qualifying games to get to Russia 2018.

The chances of two big name teams with some of the world's finest footballers who are in danger of missing the greatest show on earth are assessed.

Wales, without the mercurial Gareth Bale, play Georgia today, while on Saturday France with the prodigious Kylian Mbappe visit Bulgaria.

For the first match today at 11:00 am, Wales desperately need three points if they are to secure automatic qualification to Russia 2018.

When Wales faced Georgia earlier in the competition they drew at home. Wales need Serbia to lose or draw both of their remaining two games to finish second and, even if they achieve this, they are still not guaranteed qualification as they are currently the worst second placed team in the UEFA World Cup qualifying at the moment.

Interestingly, Georgia have never lost against Wales, winning three and drawing one game in their previous four meetings. The Dragons, as Wales are popularly called, will rely on Liverpool's 17-year-old rising star Ben Woodburn to lead them to Russia, as it was his game-winning goal against Austria that has given Wales a glimmer of hope of reaching Russia.

JustBet predicts a low-scoring affair with 2.5 goals in the game.

The Justbet odds are as follows for the match are as follows:

Georgia to win $5.50, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $5,500.

Wales to win $1.65, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $1,650.

Odds of a draw, $3.45, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $3,450.

Odds on the home team (Georgia) winning the game 4-1 at full-time, $350.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $350,000.

Odds on the away team (Wales) winning the game 1-4 at full-time, $45.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $45,000.

Odds on the game drawing 3-3 at full-time, $150.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $150,000!!!

The second match on Saturday at 1:45 pm (local time) sees a Bulgarian team still with a chance of qualifying for Russia 2018 hosting leaders France in a game they hope to secure a victory to enhance their chances. Bulgaria's home form has been key so far as they have won all four home World Cup qualifiers, including victory over the fading Dutch team.

France, on the other hand, will need to improve as they could only muster a draw with minnows Luxembourg at home in their last match.

Bulgaria are unbeaten in six home games against France and have won five of those games, which is why this game is such a tricky one for the powerful French team.

The JustBet prediction is 1-1 draw

The odds are as follows:

Bulgaria to win $12.50, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $12,500.

France to win $1.20, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $1,200.

Odds of a draw, $6.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $6,000.

Odds on the home team (Georgia) winning the game 4-1 at full-time, $500.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $500,000.

Odds on the away team (France) winning the game 1-4 at full-time, $17.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $17,000.

Odds on the game drawing 3-3 at full-time, $150.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $150,000!!!!!
