All prep football tourney
Saturday, February 04, 2012
JISA will be hosting an All Prep football tournament today at the American International School of Kingston.
Matches begin at 9:00 am. Two JISA teams dubbed Blue Team and White Team were selected from a squad of 48 players who were named to the JISA All Prep team when the prep school competition ended last December. They will face two Under-13 teams from Clarendon and St Mary.
The teams will play each other in a round-robin format and then a play-off for the overall winning team.
JISA has been preparing an all prep football team made up of the best players from the league and knockout competition — the Alberga Cup and the Henriques Cup.
All selected players will receive a full set of gear and a certificate of recognition.
The gear sponsor is Stewart's Auto through its Suzuki brand. League title sponsors are CapriSun and Frito Lays. Associate sponsors are Hi-Lyte and Reggae Jammin.
