Boys' Town, St Georges in tame draw

AN inability to put away the numerous chances that were created was the explanation from both teams' coaches as Boys' Town and St Georges Sports Club played to a life-less 0-0 draw in their Digicel Premier League encounter at Collie Smith Drive on Sunday.
"It has been the story of our season, getting a number of chances and not putting them away," Andrew Price, coach of Boys' Town, told the Observer.
Braxton Hyre from the Portland-based St Georges had a similar cry: "Based on what's happening, I think they performed well, we're just, as usual, not finishing. We created opportunities and it's always good to create opportunities, but it would be better if we can score," he said.
It was a game both teams would have wanted to win. For Boys' Town wanted to avoid the drop into the mid-table region, having lost four of their last six games. St Georges, on the other hand, were aiming to consolidate their fourth position.
Both teams seemed to come alive in the last 35 minutes as they created several chances, but just could not finish to the obvious frustration of the Boys' Town spectators.
