MARTHA BRAE, Trelawny -- Clarks Town's perfect start to the Trelawny Football Association's National Rums of Jamaica Major Leaguer came to an end on Saturday when they were beaten 1-0 by Holland United in a first-round game played at the William Knibb Memorial High grounds.
Clarks Town had won their previous four games while conceding just one goal, but still lead the points table with 12 points, while Holland moved into joint second place with Harmony, both on 10 points.
Harmony also dropped their first points of the season after they were held goal-less by strugglers Flames at Sea Road.
Duanvale moved into fourth place on nine points after a 1-0 win over Palmento United at the Elliston Wakeland Centre.
On Sunday, Kinloss and promoted Granville were 2-1 winners over Sherwood and Upsetters, respectively.
Meanwhile, the rescheduled game between Holland and Harmony will be played tomorrow at the Bounty Hall field starting at 3:30 pm.
