BICKERSTETH, St James — Five teams will be chasing the two places in the mid-season finals of the JFf's Captain's Bakery Western Confederation Super League as the second round ends today with six matches.

Zone 2 leaders Savannah FC on 18 points need only a draw against contenders Tomorrow's People (15 points) at Bickersteth, while three clubs are in the race for the spot from Zone 1.

Three St James clubs, leaders Catherine Hall on 16 points, along with Wadadah and Granville both on 15, are all hoping to advance to the incentive final set for February 21.

After the mid-season final, the competition will resume with the third round that will be played on a cross-zone format, with the top four teams on points advancing to the semi-finals.

Savannah have created a massive impression in their first season and a draw against Tomorrow's People whom they beat 2-1 in the first round.

The Danilo Barriga-coached Tomorrow's People have won all four games played in the second round to move back into contention and will enjoy home field advantage.

Gregory Tape has led form the front for Tomorrow's People, scoring in three of four second-round games played so far, and will be the point man for the St James club today.

In Zone 1, Catherine Hall, who have won three and drawn the other, must beat Jericho Rangers at home if they are to stay ahead of Granville who will play away to faltering Frome and Wadadah, who are away to last-paced Invaders.

Both Granville and Wadadah won their first-round games, while Catherine Hall drew 2-2 with Jericho Rangers.

Meanwhile, in other games today, Fogo United host Harmony at Flankers, while Mt Pelier and Bamboo will meet in a Hanover derby at Mt Pelier.

Games today:

Fogo United vs Harmony - Flankers

Mt Pelier vs Bamboo - Mt Pelier

Catherine Hall vs Jericho Rangers - Westgreen

Frome vs Granville - Frome

Tomorrow's People vs Savannah - Bickersteth

Invaders vs Wadadah - Bunkers Hill
