GEORGIA, Trelawny — Former champions Clarks Town continued their upward movement in the points table in the Trelawny Football Association's National Rums of Jamaica Major League after extending their unbeaten run to four games with a 2-0 win over Spicy Hill at Georgia on Thursday.

Clarks Town scored twice in the second half for back-to-back wins that saw them jump three places to fourth on 15 points from 10 games.

Their position could change by this afternoon, however, as Prospect Links and Jackson Town, both on 14 points from one game less, will meet at Samuel Prospect in one of three games scheduled for today.

Yanique Brown scored in the 62nd minute to give Clarks Town the lead, while Dwayne Brown added a second in the 88th minute as Clarks Town racked up their fourth win.

Holland United missed taking over the lead from Duanvale after they were held goal less by Granville at Davis Pen.

The point saw Holland join leaders Duanvale on 23 points, but with an inferior goal difference, while Granville stayed in third place on 19 points, also from 10 games played.

Salt Marsh, meanwhile, came from behind to draw 1-1 against Kinloss at Kinloss.

Ronique Haynes sent the home team ahead in the 27th minute before Dewey Stewart equalised in the 82nd to give Salt Marsh a point that moved them to seven, two above the relegation zone.

Also today, Duanvale could move three points clear at the top when they face Exidos at Duanvale, while Friendship will host Flames.
