Comfitanya, Pub Angelique face off in Wray & Nephew league

Saturday, February 25, 2012

UNBEATEN teams Comfitanya Sports Bar and Pub Angelique will face each other to decide who will take the lead in Cluster Two of the Wray and Nephew Overproof White Rum/Jamaica National Domino Association Limited (JNDAL) Bar competition, which continues tomorrow at C’s Vintage Sports Bar on Mountain View Avenue, starting at 1:00 pm.

This match-up between both teams should be quite interesting as both are going all out for victory with the aim of moving to the top of the points standing.

Comfitanya are presently ahead with 10 points from two games with Pub Angelique two points adrift on eight also from two matches. A victory for either should put them in the lead as the top two teams will advance to the quarter-finals knockout stage.

C’s Vintage are in third place with nine points from three matches, while 3 J’s Sports Bar fourth place with five points from three matches.

Meanwhile, the biggest margin of win in Cluster Two was by Comfitanya Sports Bar, who crushed 3 J’s Sports Bar 6-0, with their other win being against C’s Vintage (4-2).
