Bethabra, Mandeville and Alley are all through to the second round of the INSPORTS National Primary School Football competition after impressive performances in first-round second-leg games yesterday.

At Kirkvine, Bethabra drubbed Black River 5-0 to complete the tie 6-1 on aggregate. Chevaughn Brown scored four times in the rout, including a first-half hat-trick. The outcome of this game was decided very early, as Akeel Dixon's own-goal saw the St Elizabeth side leading 4-0 at the interval.

Christopher Ainsworth (12th, 36th, 50th) scored a hat-trick as Mandeville blanked hosts Holland 3-0 at Holland Primary, following both sides' goalless draw in the first leg.

Having won their first leg 5-1, Alley completed the formalities with a 2-0 return-leg win away to Broughton at Petersfield to win 7-1 on aggregate.

The second round starts on January 22 with the return matches on January 24.
