Champions Arnett Gardens FC and last season's beaten finalists Portmore United will be hoping to continue their perfect start to the season when they take on Waterhouse FC and Tivoli Gardens FC, respectively, in the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) today.

In the other games, Reno FC host Humble Lion FC at Frome Sports Complex, while The University of the West Indies (UWI) FC tackle Boys' Town FC at the Mona Bowl.

In another RSPL clash, Montego Bay United play Cavalier SC at Montego Bay Sports Complex.

The Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex will be buzzing once again as Arnett Gardens face one of their fiercest foes in Waterhouse. For that 6:00 pm kick-off, Arnett will be hunting their third-consecutive win following victories over Sandals South Coast and Tivoli Gardens.

Arnett are joint top of the league on six points and will be bubbling with confidence against a Waterhouse outfit that has garnered two points from two games following 1-1 results against UWI and Reno.

Arnett, boasting the more experienced squad, should be able to snatch victory, especially playing in front of their raucous yet knowledgeable home crowd.

Following two consecutive defeats, Tivoli Gardens will be aiming to stop that streak when they tackle leaders Portmore United at Spanish Town Prison Oval at 3:30 pm.

Former champions Tivoli Gardens have lost 0-1 to both Reno and Arnett Gardens to be without a point, but reports are they have not been playing badly. Today they have a tough task against a well-oiled Portmore United aggregation seeking their third-consecutive win. Portmore started with a close 1-0 win over Cavalier, then whipped new boys Sandals 4-0. They are favourites to make it three in a row against Tivoli Gardens.

Third-placed UWI, on four points, are coming off an impressive 3-1 demolition of Humble Lion, and are fancied to get the better of a Boys' Town team on three points in sixth spot in their 3:30 pm encounter. But the Red Brigades are coming off a morale-boosting 1-0 win away to Montego Bay and will take some effort to beat.

Despite playing some good attacking football, Cavalier still lost both games to Portmore and Harbour View. They will find it difficult to beat Montego Bay United, especially with their top-two attacking players — Chevone Marsh and Alex Marshall — away on international duty. Game time at Montego Bay Complex is 7:00 pm.

At Frome, home team Reno, on four points in fourth spot, host Humble Lion, on three points in seventh, in what is expected to be a humdinger at 3:30 pm. Reno will look towards Craig Foster to lead their charge once again aagainst a Humble Lion team full of experienced players in Le'aughn Williams, Wolry Wolfe and Romario Campbell.

It should be a good game, with Humble Lion fancied to win their second match of the season.

Tomorrow's Monday night fixture sees Harbour View FC welcome Sandals South Coast to the compound in an 8:35 pm start.
