BOUNTY HALL, Trelawny — Falmouth United won their second title this season when they beat Duanvale FC 3-0 in the final of the Trelawny Football Association Victor Wright Knockout at Bounty Hall on Wednesday.

Falmouth United had won the pre-season Trelawny FC President's Cup Knockout, beating Duanvale FC in the final by a wide margin 8-0.

Antonio Roberts scored two goals late in the game to put it out of reach after Romaine Lewis had given them a first-half lead.

Falmouth United finished the game with 10 men after midfielder Theodore Hopwood was sent off in the 82nd minute after picking up his second yellow card of the game.

The champions completed the competition without conceding a goal in four games.

Lewis gave Falmouth United the lead in the 36th minute but they had to wait until the 74th minute for the second goal, but was then reduced to 10 players when Hopwood was ejected.

Despite playing a man short, Falmouth United added to their lead when Roberts added his second and his team's third in the 86th minute.
