A plucky display by Harbour View FC earned a 1-1 draw against Arnett Gardens FC at the Harbour View Stadium on Monday that went a long way to encourage Head Coach Ricardo “Bibby” Gardner that his team is finally turning the corner to recovery.

It was a game which referee Odette Hamilton brought under control by guiding youthful intemperance, and Harbour View registered their second-consecutive draw as Bebeto McDonald gave them the lead in the 40th minute with Ranike Anderson replying for Arnett Gardens in the 74th minute.

In his post-match interview, Gardner said he would take the point and move on. “We are improving as a group. We are growing as a group. It is getting better. We just need to continue to believe in ourselves as we play. Play football a little more and move the ball around. I still think that we could have moved the ball around a little better than we did tonight, but I thought we created enough chances tonight to secure all three points.
