The Gary Subratie-trained Hilly's Halo should have no problems under current conditions and is expected to romp home easily in the Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame Stakes Trophy feature at Caymanas Park today.

Hilly's Halo put up a fight when beaten by a length by Another Vigorous over five furlongs (1,000m) on the round course on May 25. Hilly's Halo was slow into stride and came with a strong run in deep stretch only to be denied by the better horse on the day. With the extended trip and less to fear, Hilly's Halo is going to be hard to beat this time around.

The Open Allowance event for three-year-olds and upward going six furlongs (1,200m) is positioned as the fifth race on the 10-race programme with a post time of 3:00 pm. First race is at 12:15 pm.

Hilly's Halo has one win, one second-place finish, and two third-place finishes from four starts this season. Her only victory was on April 22 over five-and-a-half furlongs (1,100m) when beating Patriarch by half of a length in Overnight Company. Her next two runs was in this class, and having shown good form with competitve efforts, Hilly's Halo will not be easily beaten.

Her main rival here is the Anthony Nunes trainee Patriarch. After a narrow win in the class below, Patriarch stepped to the Open Allowance and finished a fighting third behind Another Vigorous and Hilly's Halo going five furlongs round. Although Patriarch faces Hilly's Halo here, he is going to be the main rival of the filly in this trophy event.

Exhilarate and My Sister are expected to be competitive here, while Hover Craft and Uncle Vinnie are going to be left behind in this six-horse field.

Also on tap on the Jamaica Racing Commission-sponsored race day are the Leslie McRae Memorial over five-and-a-half furlongs and the Drumbeat Trophy over five furlongs straight.

First-time starter Enuffisenuff should leads home rivals in the Leslie McRae, while Clearly Ours, Smokescreen and Miss Nancy are fancied in the Drumbeat.
