Former champions, Boys' Town will take a 3-1 lead into the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Major League final against arch-rivals, Santos, at Constant Spring playingfield this afternoon, starting at 3:30.
In the curtain-raiser at 1:30, University of the West Indies meet Brown's Town in the Syd Bartlett final. UWI lead the tie after a 2-1 win in last Saturday's first-leg.
Despite holding a two-goal lead, Boys' Town's coach, Andrew Pryce says his team will be coming to attack.
"We'll be attacking from the opening whistle, we're not coming to lay down. We're concious and aware that we can score goals freely and we're going to score an early one and throw them off their game," he said.
Pryce says he expects Santos to come at them, but he is not worried: "I think for the first 20 minutes they are going to attack all out, but we have the neccesary capabilities to deal with that and repel their attack."
Boys' Town will look to Fitzroy Anglin, Dean and Michael Thompson, Oniel Campbell, Michael Alexander and Marvin Morgan to lead them to victory.
Meanwhile, Santos' Carlton Dennis has attributed last Saturday's loss to nerves, but the veteran coach is confident his team can overturn the deficit and come away with a win.
"This will be an all-out attacking game. We have to score three goals, but we're going to play our usual football, good football. For the first 15 minutes we will be looking that early goal," he noted.
"I won't be a hard game. Last week we gave Boys' Town a gift of three goals, but they did not do anything for the last 45 minutes. The ball only came out their half twice, so it will not be difficult.
"We just have to go there and do what we have to do. We put ourselves in that hole so we have to take ourselves out of it," he said.
Santos will be depending on Richard West, Fabian Nethersole, Andrew Sewell, Terence Allen and Hanif Freckleton, although Dennis hinted that he might be making some changes to his starting line-up.
