Samuels, Baugh snub 'A' tour for Stanford 20/20 Tournament Jamaican Batsman Marlon Samuels and wicketkeeper/batsman Carlton Baugh will not accept invitations to tour England with the West Indies 'A' team next month, reliable sources have informed the Observer.
Instead, the duo will stick with the Jamaican squad for the lucrative Stanford 20/20 Tournament in Antigua. Three fastbowlers Jerome Taylor, Daren Powell and Andrew Richardson, who are the other Jamaicans reportedly invited for the 'A' team tour, have accepted the invitations, the sources added.

The five, who were seen as essential members to Jamaica's Twenty20 squad, received the invitation for the 'A' team tour last week, leaving them uncertain as to which option to take due to the clash of dates.
Sources told the Observer last night that Samuels would possibly have had to miss the 'A' team tour in any case, because of personal reasons. The West Indies 'A' team comprises of players on the threshold of selection to the regional senior team.
The Stanford 20/20 Tournament, which has the blessing of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), will feature 19 regional countries vying for the top spot and the top prize of US$1 million, with the second-placed team receiving US$500,000.
The cricket boards of the top two teams will receive US$200,000 and US$100,000, respectively, which must be used to develop and improve the cricket facilities in those countries.
In addition, the man-of-the-match in every game will receive US$25,000 and the man-of-the-match in the championship game will receive US$100,000. The fastest bowler in each game will receive US$10,000 and US$25,000 for the championship game.
