Ten-year-old Sean Wilson of El Instituto de Mandevilla delivered the goods at the 16th Pan American Junior Badminton Championships which ended Sunday in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Wilson racked up gold in the Under-11 Boys Singles, Boys Doubles and Mixed Doubles, with Gareth Henry winning Jamaica's other and fourth gold in the Under-17 Boys Singles.
Jamaica closed out the championships securing four gold and four bronze medals. At the championships, semi-finalists were guaranteed medals.

Wilson took 20 minutes to dispatch American Timothy Lam 21-16, 21-17 for the Under-11 Singles title, and teamed up with his younger brother Shane Wilson to capture the Under-11 Doubles 21-9, 21-7 over the Guatemalan pair Elmer Roberv Escobedo Tello and Jorge Ivan Guzman Saucedo.

Sean joined Peruvian Daniela Macias Brandes to clinch the Under-11 Mixed Doubles title, beating Americans Micaela Lum and Timothy Lam 21-8, 22-20 in a match that lasted 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in-form Henry of DeCarteret College battled for gold in the Under-17 Singles, overpowering number one seed Bruno Monteverde Guillen of Peru 21-18, 21-16 in 24 minutes.
Henry and Mikaylia Haldane, number one seed in the Under-17 Mixed Doubles, were beaten in the semi-finals by Peruvians Michaela Salazar De Souza Peixoto and Mario Cuba Rodriguez 21-18, 22-20 to earn a bronze.

Haldane, who attends Manchester High and was ousted in the second round of the Under-15 Girls Singles, partnered with Shana-Kay Bailey of St Hugh's High in the Girls Doubles to reach the semi-finals and take home a bronze.
They were defeated by eventual champions and number one seed Daneysha Santana and Irytsha Gonzalez of Puerto Rico 21-16, 21-16.

Shevon Salmon clinched Jamaica's other two medals: in the Under-11 Boys Singles and Boys Doubles.
Salmon was defeated by compatriot and Pan American Junior champion Sean Wilson in the semi-finals, losing 21-9, 21-10. He teamed up in the Doubles with Rene Lopez of El Salvador, where they lost to the Wilson brothers, Sean and Shane, 21-7, 21-13.
