CEO of Kingston Wharves Limited, Grantley Stephenson, has vowed his company's continued support of the Jamaica Cricket Association's (JCA's) National Under-15 competition which climaxed yesterday with a brief presentation ceremony at Kensington Cricket Club in east Kingston.

Stephenson said Kingston Wharves was prepared to expand its involvement in the youth cricket league which it has sponsored for 24 unbroken years.

"We are very pleased to be associated with this programme and we intend to expand our support next year as we mark our 25th year of support," he said.

Stephenson urged the young cricketers to maintain discipline in whatever they do and warned them to be prepared to work hard if they are to reap success at cricket in particular and life in general.

"Our company only wants to be associated with discipline, and once that his maintained, then we will stay with the programme as long as possible," added the company executive.

Meanwhile, Middlesex received their championship trophy from Stephenson as they finished ahead of the field in the limited overs county tournament.

In individual presentations, Cornwall's Brian Gayle topped the awards when he won prizes for Best Batting Performance and Most Runs Scored in the tournament, with his personal best being 164 not out.

And in a tournament wrap-up match yesterday at Kensington, a Rest of the Best Development team defeated champs Middlesex by 24 runs in a 30-over encounter.
