Three of the most talented girls in Jamaica's tennis will open the action this morning at 8:30 when the Pan Caribbean Bank All-Jamaica Junior Tennis moves into day three at the Eric Bell Centre (EBC), Cross Roads.

With matches also being played at the Liguanea Club and at the Senior Common Room, University of the West Indies over the past two days, the organisers are hoping to concentrate all quarter-final matches at the EBC.

On Court One, Lauren Vranov-Brown take on Monique Hanson in the Girls 16; on Court Two, Shantal Blackwood challenges arch-rival Sicquena Sinclair, also in Girls 16; while on Court Three, Montego Bay-based Shelita Haughton runs into Florida-based Neeah Rose.

In Girls 16 results yesterday, Lauren Vranov Brown overpowered Shadae Findlay, 6-2, 6-1; Blackwood made short work of Victoria McKenzie, 6-1, 6-2; Haughton eliminated Emily Williams, 6-0, 6-1, while Rose demolished Tammy Graham, 6-0, 6-0.

Boys 18 top-seed Jordan Harris kept his momentum by beating the improving Adam Henriquez, 6-1, 7-6 and will play unseeded Lawrence Salmon today on Court One.

Meanwhile, No 3-seed Sheldon McIntosh tackles arch-nemesis and No 4 seed Phillip Bond on Court Two in another Boys 18 match. On Court Three, No 6 Jahvair Mullings battles Joseph Ross.

Court Four has been reserved for No 2 seed Camarsh Crumbie vs Vincent Williams, who knocked out left-hander Nicholas Chung, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (6), in a marathon match yesterday.

In the competitive Boys 16, No three Oshane Trail will meet the dangerous Andrew Bicknell, who ousted No seven Ryan Simms, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (3), in a match that will not be played before 10:30 am.

For early afternoon action, fifth seeded Joseph Ross and No two Daniel Harris will clash in the Boys 16 quarters, wich will be mixed with play in Boys Open Doubles.
Organising play has been challenging as some players will be graduating while others are on job orientation as the school year ends.

Earlier, Girls 18 No two seed Simone Vranov Brown whipped Nordian Campbell, 6-1, 6-0, while with sister Lauren defeated Emily Williams and Tammy Graham, 8-0.
