Jamaica will be represented by David Summerbell Jnr and Christopher Campbell.
King David, the many-time Caribbean champion driver and holder of the track records of Trinidad, Guyana and Jamaica, is leading in the drivers points standing with 48 points.
His closest rival is Mark Maloney of Barbados with 39 points. Regarding the country's points standing, Jamaica are behind Barbados by 18 points and Summerbell and Campbell will have to pull out all the stops for the win.
Accompanying the drivers are two motorcyclists - Jamaica's champion Stefan Chin and his closest rival Halquin Rodney. The race cars and motorcycles are already in Guyana.
Team manager and president of the local association Hilary Jardine is confident David will win the drivers title but is not sure of the international contest since Barbados has four cars to Jamaica's two.
For Jamaica to win that title, both of the drivers must be on the podium, which is possible as well as Guyana has to garner points.
