When did you start playing football?

I recently started playing football while at Belmont Park Primary.

What team did you play against in your first Manning Cup match?

I played my first Manning Cup game against Hydel.

Who is your international football idol?

My international football idol is Manchester United and Spain goalkeeper David de Gea, who has been hailed as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

How do you rate your school's chances in this year's competition?

I think we have a very good chance of winning the competition this year. We have a well-rounded team from goalkeeper to the forward line. All we need to do is maintain our discipline, defend stoutly and take our chances when they come. We have won two trophies in preseason, so that has given us some confidence coming into the Manning Cup and we drew with the defending champions so I think that speaks volumes to our chances this season.

Which school do you fear most and why?

I wouldn't say we fear any team, but we respect every team that we come up against. Currently in our zone many believe JC was the danger team but surprisingly the team that gave us the most fight so far is STATHS. So we respect every team regardless of the calibre of the school's name.

How important is it for a student/athlete to have a solid education?

It is very important for a student/athlete to have a solid education because while you can pursue a career in sport, the school work is more important. For example, if you are not academically sound to a certain extent, you won't be allowed to participate in sporting events at the school level, and say you do make it big in the sporting arena after school, one injury can ruin that and you would need the education to fall back on. So for me the focus should be 75% academics and 25% sports for a student/athlete.

What are your educational achievements to date?

My educational achievements so far are 9 CXCs; Mathematics, English, Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business, Human and Social Biology, Physical Education, EDPM, Social Studies and Religious Education.

What is your ultimate life ambition?

My ultimate life ambition is to become a professional football player for now.

Who has had the biggest impact on your life?

My father has had the biggest impact on my life and I have also gained great inspiration from Martin Luther King Jr
