The Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) opens its 2018 Milo/KSAFA Under-13 and Under-15 juvenile football competitions with a double-header programme at Bell Chung Oval today starting 3:00 pm.

Harbour View FC, the Milo/KSAFA Under-13 four-time defending champions, will kick-start the season in defence of their title against Central Kingston FC in the opening game.

The clubs will later clash in the Under-15 feature match at 4:30 pm.

Under-13 coach Sidney McFarlane, who has won three of the four Harbour View titles, thinks he has a good chance of repeating this season based on preparation and the enthusiasm shown among his new crop of players, even though last year's standouts Tyrick Ximenes and Kevon Wilson have moved on.

The team has retained a number of its promising players in Daniel Gardner, Dillon Mazzuca, Diego McKenzie, Ronaldinho Richards and Richard Todd.

Keeble Allen, coach of Central Kingston, is confident his new crop of players is capable of leading the team to a better finish than their quarter-final placing last season.

In other matches, Bull Bay FC will take on Rockfort FC at Bull Pen, while Mountain View FC tackle Browns Town FC, and New Kingston FC face Tivoli Gardens FC at venues to be announced.
