MONTEGO BAY, St James — Lilliput Rovers are into the final of the St James Football Association Sandals Resorts International Major League despite losing Tuesday's return-leg semi-final 1-2 to Heights FC at the UDC Field.

Lilliput Rovers' 2-0 in in the first leg saw them win the tie 3-2 on aggregate and will await the winner of the other semi-final between Cambridge United and Violet Kickers.

On Tuesday, Heights had a perfect start as they took an early lead to increase the overall tally to 3-0, then withstood a frenetic rally from Heights FC, who came up just short in the end.

Ricardo Blake shot Lilliput Rovers in the lead in the fourth minute but, despite having a massive deficit, Heights FC never surrendered and Ronaldo Scarlett pulled a goal back in the 18th minute, and Christopher Thompson took them to within touching distance of at least forcing extra time when he scored in the 70th minute, latching on to a rare slip by goalkeeper Nyron Campbell and rolling the ball across the goal line from close range.

Heights FC then threw everything in attack, but Lilliput Rovers put players behind the ball and held on to advance to the final.
