Marlie Mount and Portland Cottage will contest the final of the INSPORTS National Primary School netball competition.

The two teams booked their tickets after triumphing in last Friday's semi-finals at G C Foster College.

St Catherine champions Marlie Mount defeated Naggo Head of Portmore 11-8 in the day's feature game. Marlie Mount led from start, displaying excellent ball play with goal shooter Calissa Cobourne scoring the bulk of their chances.

Portland Cottage registered the most impressive victory, however, on the day, crushing Burnt Savannah 26-10. Impressive shooter Sashay Rhoden led the Clarendon side with some efficient play, as Burnt Savannah failed to rediscover the form that saw them reaching the semi-finals.

The final will be played on Tuesday at the Leila Robinson Court, National Stadium, Kingston, starting 1:30 pm.

Burnt Savannah and Naggo Head will battle at 12:30 pm for the third-place play-off, while a rally, involving all the teams that lost in the first round and quarter-finals, is scheduled for 10:00 am.
