DEFENDING champions Excelsior High and Denham Town High will meet in the 2018 Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA)/Locker Room School Girl final, after wins in their respective semi-finals at Spanish Town Prison Oval on Thursday.

The Mountain View Avenue-based Excelsior defeated former champions Lennon High 1-0 courtesy of a 40th-minute header from Davia Richards.

Denham Town came through 4-2 on penalties over St Jago High after they had played to 0-0 draw at full and extra time.

St Jago's successful kickers were Denesha Ellis and Rachel Walters, while their teammates Peta-Gaye Brown and Gabrielle Gaye failed to beat the goalkeeper.

The final is scheduled to be played on Monday at Spanish Town Prison Oval. Match time is 3:00 pm. The third-place play-off game between St Jago and Lennon is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm, the first of a double-header.
