Dear Orchid Doc
Dear Orchid Doc:
How often can I use fertiliser on my orchids? How often should I repot them? I'm awaiting your usual prompt response.
— Miriam
Dear Miriam:
I'm often asked what I do to get so many blooms at all times. I personally fertilise three times per week. With regard to repotting, try it every two to three years. If you don't repot at all, your orchids will have a higher mortality rate.
Dear Orchid Doc:
I noticed you advised Ridomil for Vandas. Can this be used on all species of orchid?
Thanks
Lynn
Dear Lynn:
I have been using it on various types without any problem, and I've also been selling it for wide usage on orchids. No problem so far. The only fungicide that I am aware of that is a problem when used on dendrobiums is the Champion, but it is excellent for sooty mould on other plants.
