What would be your travel itinerary for a first-time visitor to Kingston?

Head downtown Kingston to experience the architecture and history of such standouts as the Ward Theatre, the railway station and Coronation Market. Then take a trip to the National Gallery. After, drive to Port Royal to enjoy some fried fish and bammy. And in-between it all, make stops at a few local bars.

As creative director of Studio Nine, what's the ongoing game plan to carve out your niche in an ever-mushrooming space of marketing companies?

At Studio Nine we pride ourselves as game-changers; revolutionising the how of your brand image and identity, the how of standing out among the plethora of consumer choices. As the design consultant, my approach is collaborative. I work directly with each of our clients to deliver anything from architectural visualisation, corporate brand imaging/PR, and a full suite of graphic artistry services. The ability to tackle any creative challenge, across all forms of media, irrespective of scale or complexity, is done through sharply focused ideas, passion for excellence, creative and mental acuity, and personal commitment.

What recent brand campaign left you wishing you had dreamt it up yourself, and why?

Budweiser: Super Bowl XLVIII Puppy Love; it's relatable even though they use a puppy and a horse; it captures the essence of love, emotional connection and loyalty. Simply put, when you love somebody or something, you will do whatever it takes to be with them. It's easily translatable to your drink of choice. It's not an in-your-face, literal type of campaign. It connects at a deeper level and is definitely memorable.

Inspiration is most fertile when...

I'm one with self.

My can't-go-without wardrobe items are...

Bvlgari Black, a timepiece preferably with a leather band, and beard oil.

Taraji P Henson or Kerry Washington?

Taraji. She is convincing in any role she takes on, extremely talented. She is bold, quirky in a sexy kind of way and is unafraid to challenge the status quo. I really admire that confidence she exudes always.

Where's the most surprising discovery on The Rock for a day to chillax?

Driftwood in Treasure Beach; idyllic cottage by the sea away from the beaten track with the best housekeeper you will ever find.

Whose brain do you pick to bounce ideas off?

Depending on what it is, there are two people who I know will always challenge my thinking and give me balanced feedback: my bredrin who I have known from primary school and my mom.

Tears are wasted on...

Things you cannot change.

When is the bro code worth violating?

Never.
