What's the most memorable meal that you have enjoyed in Kingston?

Curried goat from the LASCO White Marl canteen.

What would you do if you were mayor of Kingston for a day?

Penalise those who dump garbage in the gullies, and beautify the city with more plants and flowers.

What would be your recommendations to a first-time visitor to Kingston?

Experience the cuisine.

Where do you go to unwind?

Strawberry Hill.

How has business changed in the last decade, and what adjustments have you had to make?

The landscape has become more competitive. I have had to make decisions faster.

How have you remained competitive?

Through the employment of innovation, automation, computerisation, and greater efficiency.

Is being part of the problem the best advantage for achieving success?

A problem can be used as motivation to be successful. Use every disadvantage to your advantage.

Is ganja Lasco's third act?

Medical cannabis is a part of it. There are many more innovations to come.

What ought the Government of Jamaica to be doing to ensure maximum profits from the lucrative marijuana industry?

Speed up the approval process.

If I knew then what I know now I would have.... (finish the thought)

Made more time to travel for pleasure, not work.

Were you able to hand-pick five local and/or international business individuals for a brainstorming session, who would they be and why?

Gordon “Butch” Stewart, Michael Lee-Chin, Jeff Bezos, Jack Ma and Elon Musk because they are all visionaries and have become highly successful in what seems to be a short period of time.

Who or what inspires you?

Jack Ma, the founder and executive chairman of Alibaba Group, a conglomerate of Interent-based, technology and AI businesses. He is more successful than Amazon and eBay put together. They do 273,000 orders in one second!

Finally, what is your personal credo?

Always focus on the positive; don't make excuses to justify the negative. Work hard to achieve your goals. Focus on the solutions, not the problems. No excuses!
