On di road with all meh friends, doh want dis ting to end, liquor does ignite we flame.

If yuh have any problem, dis is what I recommend, just come out come out come out and celebrate! — Patrice Roberts, Sweet Fuh Days (2018)

Sweet fuh days is how many described Trinidad's 2018 Carnival, and who better to break it down visually than SO contributing lensman and TeamDWP Studios Creative Director Dwayne Watkins?

From the daybreak J'Ouvert paint party that ushered in Carnival Monday, to the cavalcade of pelting waists, bejewelled bodices, and bright feathered backpacks that filled the Savannah on Carnival Tuesday, our shutterbug was a mere click away.

With a catalogue of some of the latest soca, calypso and (fairly new) Afro and dancehall beats, and masqueraders, we welcome you to YUMA (young and upwardly mobile adults) and to our annual Trinidad & Tobago Carnival issue.
