The search has ended! The Style Observer's month-long campaign to unearth the September Issue cover star was a close race to the finish, but there can only be one winner. The votes were tallied, and we're pleased to announce our September Issue cover girl is, by marginal votes... *cue drumroll* ...Tosh Alexander!

Naturally, there'd be a cover feature — which was photographed recently in Kingston. The first stop was at Spanish Court Hotel for a glam session with hairstylist Lisa McIntosh-Aris, and make-up artist Racquel Jenkins. Fashion stylist and merchandiser Kristia Franklin curated the looks, and added the bling with Roberto Coin and John Hardy jewellery courtesy of Dominica Drive treasure trove Bijoux.

There's more. The dancehall/reggae recording artiste had a few stops in London recently. From a pop-up party at the iconic label Rough Trade Records to an album pop-up event with Protoje before closing out her London bout with a performance on days one and two of Notting Hill carnival.

SOreintroduces Tosh Alexander.
