Happy New Year
Absinthe-lutely amazing
Tuesday, January 03, 2012
WE brought in the new year in fine style at the Palisadoes go-kart track with a combination of good food, good music and patrons ready to 'party rock'.
The promoters of Absinthe Supernova were sure to deliver to the eager crowd from start to finish.
The overall set-up of the venue was excellent with sky booths strategically placed food and drink stations and an area for photos upon entry.
Many patrons were heard commenting on the excellent food catered by Patsy Lyn Caterers, which included varieties of pasta, chicken, seafood and pork. Other booths that helped to make the night complete were those by Haagen-Daaz and the infamous coffee booth that both lived up to patron expectations.
At midnight the patrons enjoyed the 'Jamaica 50' fireworks and besides the occasional dips in the music levels, the DJs generally kept the energy high. Based on crowd reaction it is sure that patrons thoroughly enjoyed when Coppershot Disco took over the wheels of steel.
As expected, the Absinthe team delivered an all-star event and although the drink stations ran out of some items in the wee hours of morning, they were re-stocked before too many noticed.
We anticipate all that 2012 has to offer and quite possibly ringing in 2013 with the Absinthe team!
