Cool Fruit brings Wonderland
Tuesday, July 24, 2012
SUMMER holidays for most students means the beginning of summer school with little entertainment in the mix.
This weekend though, July 27-29, Cool Fruit Wonderland will be held at the Police Officer's Club on Hope Road.
Co-ordinated by JamPop Limited, the event aims to be all about clean, wholesome family entertainment with games trailers, puppets for peace, storytelling with three of Jamaica's best storytellers — Amina Blackwood-Meeks, Maas Gussie (of Lime Tree Lane fame) and Iceman of the popular television series, the Ity and Fancy Cat Show.
The brave can ride the mechanical bull, ferris wheel, dinosaur bouncer and sports jumper.
The first 600 patrons to arrive at the venue with proof of purchase of nine boxes of Cool Fruit drinks, enter free and earn four free rides.
All patrons after are eligible for discounts and free rides, which are earned with Cool Fruit purchase.
Sharing MC duties will be LOVE FM's Nadine Blair and Shaka Fame.
