Konshens set to launch clothing line

Apart from his debut album Mental Maintenance, fans of dancehall artiste Konshens now has something else to look forward to. The artiste has partnered with CY clothing to launch his own clothing line called OH'K, which he describes as "youthful, chic and will speak directly to females with an urban edge".

Konshens says he will personally be heading the initiative, which will focus mainly on women's clothing. Among the items in the new range of OH'K are women's printed T-shirts and tank tops, some featuring graphic renditions of popular songs by Konshens.

The clothing line will first be launched in Kingston, Jamaica, and will then move on to Guyana, Barbados, Trinidad, Belize, Grenada, New York and Miami. There are also plans to expand into Europe, where a full range of long sleeves, sweaters and zip-ups will be available.

Khago signs new record deal

Reggae artiste Khago signed a new deal with Stashment Records and therefore will no longer be represented by American businessman Cory Todd. Khago said after the split with his previous management team, "Big up Cory Todd, him ah mi real dupes. But he is focusing more on the business aspect of entertainment in terms of his clubs and his other business ventures, so ah just mutual understanding that we come to fi go our separate ways."

The entertainer also said that since Stashment Records was already involved in his career, things stepped up in terms of his street presence and radio play. He shot videos for his hit songs with them and hopes to do more in the future.

His announcement came after NotNice also pulled from the Cory Todd-led team, given that the business man has other priorities.

Bruno Mars drug charge dismissed

Bruno Mars' drug charge is now officially a thing of the past. It was reported that a Las Vegas judge dismissed the cocaine possession charge after the singer went "above and beyond" his court-ordered obligations.

The R&B star had pleaded guilty after he was caught using cocaine in the bathroom at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and was ordered to complete 200 hours of community service and drug education classes. Bruno wound up participating in more than 230 hours of community work.

With his drug case now behind him, Bruno can now focus on next month's Grammy Awards where he's up for six awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.
