Tuesday, March 29, 2011

LIME, will be making communication easier and more affordable with special deals for 'Champs-bound' patrons attending this year's staging of the annual ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys' and Girls' Athletics Championships scheduled to kick-off tomorrow at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Among the exciting offers is the LIME 'Campus Crew' plan where students, teachers and supporters of the over 200 schools participating in 'Champs' can enjoy 30 days of unlimited talk and texts within a closed-user group for only $400.

Additionally, there will be special deals on some of the hottest handsets available including mobile TV phones both at the Games and at LIME stores across the island.

Now in the second year of a three-year sponsorship deal valued at $24 million, LIME is again the exclusive telecommunications sponsor of the Jamaica's most prestigious track and field event.

"LIME is very pleased to continue our sponsorship of 'Champs' and we are aware that during this period there is a lot of camaraderie and excitement within and the high school community. LIME is committed to ensuring that this year's staging is even more memorable" said Stephen Price, LIME's regional special projects manager.

The annual ISSA Boys and Girls Championships will see more than 3,000 student athletes from across the island competing in over 30 track and field events.
