LAST Saturday, the LIME 'Talk EZ' campaign caravan rolled into the Bargain Village plaza to promote their new $2.99 rate and unveiled a carnival of popular artistes, prizes and phone deals for an appreciative May Pen crowd.
Before the excitement on stage, members of the public who made purchases were selected to go into the LIME 'Money Machine', where lucky grabbers won the worth of their fortune in LIME top-up credit.
Emcees Pretty Boy Floyd, 'Badda Bing' and Jerry Benswick ably led the onstage proceedings, first welcoming a host of local talent who entertained the large crowd.
As the evening progressed, both the crowd and anticipation grew as popular gospel and dancehall acts like of Kevin Downswell, Tami Chynn, Wayne Marshall, Tanto Blacks gradced the stage. There was a special guest appearance by Bounty Killer to top off the evening.
"This is our way of taking the excitement around our historically low rate to the people of Jamaica. We were very proud to be the first company to bring Jamaicans significantly lower rates for calls," says Stephen Miller, LIME sponsorship manager.
"This is just the start of a very exciting summer with LIME, you can never tell just where we will be rolling into next," says Miller, who hinted that the telecoms company will be continuing its series of 'Talk EZ' Road Shows in various locations across the island.
