On The Set: Hold On by Tifa
Tuesday, August 07, 2012
TEENage was On The Set for the video shoot of popular dancehall artiste Tifa's latest release entitled Hold On from Washroom Entertainment's bubbling Poolside Riddim.
Hold On was shot on location at the Sunshine Amusement Complex in New Kingston, and was directed by Ruption, with the producer on set being past TEENage member Lexy Nash.
Tifa explained her decision to shoot a video for Hold On by stating that "I like the song. It's picking up a lot of momentum for the summer both here and overseas." She also described the concept of the video as being, "Both fun and sexy, with a comical aspect also".
Tifa set the scenes of the video ablaze in her Dexter Pottinger styled scorching-hot outfits and jewelry. Pottinger also did Tifa's makeup, with Kimberly Patterson being the make-up artist on-set.
Celebrity cameos include music industry players Voicemail, Denyque, Raine Seville, Delus, Dario, members of Washroom Entertainment, and Digicel Stars mentor and member of production team Equiknoxx, Koffy.
Scenes that TEENage readers can look out for include Tifa and her celebrity cameos interacting with a carousel, mechanical bull, go-karts, and of course a pool to coincide with the theme of the Poolside Riddim.
In addition to the release of the video for Hold On, Tifa told TEENage readers that she has performances slated for the Grand Gala locally, Japan and the United States. In addition, she has more songs to be released on projects by ZJ Chrome, Arif Cooper, Ward 21, Washroom Entertainment, and the release of the video for Love Me 2, her collaboration with Laza Morgan.
