VIDEO: Rasco gets gnarly

Tuesday, June 05, 2012

AT just 22 years, Rahsaan 'Rasco' Lee has developed a solid footing in the music industry.

He previously told TEENage that he gets his music inspirations from Konshens, Chan Dizzy, Wayne Wonder, Damion Marley, and Barrington Levy and his musical style closely resembles the foundation reggae.

"I have had the love for music for a long time, since I was in high school (Glenmuir High), now I am just going at it from a higher level," Rasco said.

He attended the Los Angeles Recording School in Hollywood, California, where he was schooled in all areas of the music industry.

Putting out about 10 songs since the start of his musical career, he feels that his sound is engineered, and his current single Gnarly is ready to take Jamaica by storm.

More information can be seen on Facebook.com/aRascoMusic, on his website @aRascoMusic.com or follow on Twitter.com/Iamrasco.

Find out how Rasco met Russian of Head Concussion Records in our new, exclusive in-studio interview Press Record on the Jamaica Observer website or on YouTube.com/TEENageObserver.
