Veronica Campbell-Brown, (centre) Female Athlete of the Year is all smiles as she converses with Donald Quarrie, Olympian and second vice-president of the JAAA and Lissant Mitchell, CEO of Scotia Investments and Senior Vice President Wealth Management, Scotiabank Group. The trio shared a light moment at the recent JAAA Golden Cleats Awards which was sponsored by the Scotiabank Group. The event was held at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel, where Mitchell donated a cheque of US$5,000 towards purchasing hurdles, and $500,000 for a new scholarship, the Scotiabank Group Howard Aris Junior Athletic Award which honours the memory of the late JAAA President.
