So what does a healthy lifestyle entail? A healthy lifestyle would be a way of living that would result in a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Among the features of a healthy lifestyle are:

Healthy eating: Eating healthy begins with learning how to "eat smart". Your food choices can reduce your risk of illnesses, such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, as well as defend against the onset of depression.

Focus on quality sources of protein like seafood products.

Carciovascular disease: Eating seafood every week reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke as it reduces the liklihood of blood clots and inflammation; lowering blood pressure, lowering blood fats and cholesterol.

Dementia: Elderly people who eat seafood at least once a week have a lower risk of developing dementia, including Alzheimer's disease;

Diabetes: Seafood may help people with diabetes manage their blood sugar level.

Depression: People who regularly eat seafood have a lower incidence of depression (depression is linked to lower levels of Omega-3 fatty acids in the brain).

Asthma: Children who eat fish are less likely to develop Asthma.

Brain and eyes: Fish, rich in Omega-3 fatty acids can contribute to the health of brain tissue and the retina.

Cancer: The Omega-3 fatty acids in fish reduce the risk of many types of cancers by 30-50 per cent, especially the oral cavity, colon, breast, ovary, and prostate cancer

Inflammatory conditions: Regular seafood consumption may relieve symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and autoimmun disease. Eating foods that are nutritional for you and have a positive effect on the body like fresh fruits, and vegetables, low fat diets, unrefined carbohydrates, etc.

Eating in moderation is also an essential component of healthy eating.

* Better ways of preparing fish: it is healthier to broil, grill, bake, and steam.

* Health and Fitness: Regular exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. It is essential that you incorporate any kind of exercise in your daily life to help keep you fit and maintain your weight at a healthy level.

* Managing stress is a critical part of a healthy lifestyle. Failure to manage stress effectively can harm your body and affect your relationship with others

* Sleeping right, having a positive outlook about life, and having a balanced life are also necessary components of a healthy lifestyle

* Drinking lots of water: water helps flush our system of waste products and toxins. It is common to mistake thirst for hunger, so staying well hydrated will also help you make healthier food choices

Living a healthy lifestyle takes discipline. It comes down to being committed to doing what is good for your body, mind, and spirit. The physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of your life are intertwined. For you to be happy and healthy you need to keep all these aspects of your life in balance.
