THE TEENage Observer is a well-rounded magazine that caters to all. The GSAT Study Guide is a feature, which helps to prepare grade six students for the annual examination.
TEENage sat with a few students from the McIntosh Memorial Primary School and asked them how the Study Guide has helped them with their Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) preparations.
We spoke to Danielle McDonald, who hopes to attend the Bishop Gibson High School for girls.
She told TEENage, "The Study Guide gave me an idea of what to expect in the exam, and that helps me to become better prepared for them." She also said, "When I am revising from the study guide it makes me feel more settled, and it lessens the stress that comes with the preparations."
Her mother Lissette Green-McDonald seemed to love the idea of her using the Study Guide and that after using the material, she has seen some changes in Danielle's performance.
We also spoke to Osheena Langley who informed us that the Study Guide makes preparations for her exams much easier, "even if I do something in class and I don't really understand it, by using the Study Guide it helps me to get a better understanding of what was being taught in class."
Babbet Langley, Osheena's mother continued to say, "I like the concept of trying to helped out the students. It hasn't only help Osheena but I notice that it has helped out a lot of other students." Like Danielle, Osheena also wants to attend the Bishop Gibson High School for girls.
These are just two of the many students that the Study Guide has helped and will continue to help in the upcoming academic year.
