The Weekly Word: Open the Door for God
Tuesday, March 16, 2010
Ask, and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 GNT
Do you ever feel as though you're inviting God in but He refuses to enter? Have you ever thought that maybe it's not that He doesn't want to come in, but it's just that the door is still closed? It really is unlike God to be climbing through your heart's open window.
Sometimes, you know what you want, but you're not really sure if it's the best thing for you. Ask God, He knows! Seek what God wants to do in you, no matter the challenge or the circumstance. Pray for those you love. Pray for those you'd love to hate.
Prayer opens the door for God to work wonderous things in your life. The best thing you could ever do is to make God's unmistakable presence known. Believe that experiencing God is more than you can imagine. Ask, seek and knock through prayer.
To do this week:
Think of a loved one. Spend time in prayer for that special person who is on your mind. Be confident that your prayers can and will make the difference.
